Owners at the El Rancho Drive-in in Sparks say despite a nationwide economic slowdown, drive-in movie attendance is up by double digits this year. They say families are rediscovering the fun of a drive-in.
The free movie night happens Thursday, April 16th. Gates open at 6pm with movies starting at 8pm. They'll show ‘Madagascar 2' and ‘Bedtime Stories.'
There will also be bounce houses for kids and other fun activities planned before the double feature begins.
The outdoor theater is located at 555 El Rancho Drive in-between Oddie Blvd. and Prater Way.
Tickets to the drive-in usually cost $6.25 per adult, and kids 5-11 years old are just $1.00, while kids under 5 are free.
